Glenn Law Obituary

Glenn W. Law, 92, of Galloway, Ohio, passed away peacefully at his home on March 1, 2026. Glenn was born on August 25, 1933, in Springfield, Ohio and grew up in South Charleston, Ohio. Glenn lived a life defined by generosity, humor, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends whom he loved. He served in the US Army and was stationed in Pittsburgh, PA, where he met the love of his life, Rita, whom he married on September 10, 1955. Glenn worked in the construction supply industry for years before starting his own construction business in 1972, Glenn Law Builder, in Urbana, Ohio. He built several homes in and around the Urbana area. He later worked for Ameritech out of Columbus, OH where he was part of the engineering team that expanded the first cellular towers in Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky. He retired from there at the age of 65, but Ameritech kept him on as a consultant for several projects a few years after retirement. Glenn was very involved and supported the Catholic Church at St. Mary’s in Urbana and St. Celicia’s in Columbus. He donated a lot of his time to work on numerous projects for St. Mary’s, including the installation of new windows for the school. At St. Celica’s, he served as a Eucharistic minister, usher and helped with hospitality. Glenn loved the game of golf and was a part of many men’s golf leagues in Urbana and Columbus for years. He loved to be active, taking up running in the 1980’s and participating in many 10K runs, including the Simon Kenton Run in Urbana. Glenn was extremely proud of his family and loved talking about them to anyone who would listen. He had the gift of telling stories and playing jokes with his friends and family. He never met a stranger, but if he did, they were not a stranger for very long. Glenn was a devout Christian nd believed in having the faith of God always in his mind and soul giving this moral compass to each of his children.
